Dota 2 The International 2021 Cancels Ticket Sales

Ticket sales for The International 2021 (TI10) have been cancelled. Valve announced, that they will return all the money earned to the fans.

They stated that the match would not be held in front of an audience. The reason is none other than the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Romania and local restrictions in Bucharest.

"We really want to welcome fans directly to the event. However, we can't do that, with a focus on the health and well-being of viewers and participants. Those who buy tickets will be refunded in full," wrote Dota 2.

As a result, the Arena Nationala stadium, with a capacity of 55 thousand, will be empty without the fanfare of the fans of each team competing.

"The International 2021 will continue as planned on October 7. We look forward to welcoming the best Dota team in the world to the stage and sharing experiences online with millions of fans around the world," concluded Dota 2.

The match begins with the group stage on October 7-10, 2021. This is followed by the main event, from October 12-17, 2021, where the two best Dota 2 teams are ready to face off.

The whole team is not only competing for the title. However, they also compete for the total prizes that have been collected, up to USD 40 million or around Rp. 581.8 billion.

A total of 18 teams participated in this TI10 event. They hail from the six Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) regions, where 12 teams received direct invitations to the tournament.

A little information, previously TI10 was planned to be held in Stockholm, Sweden. It's just that, for some reason, they ended up not getting permission.

Then they arrived at a new place, where Valve revealed that this biggest Dota 2 competition, will be held in Bucharest, Romania. However, this plan has run aground.
