For the sake of good broadcast quality, Twitter sacrifices other features

Twitter has a live broadcasting feature and in order to improve video quality when users broadcast live, Twitter has removed one of its features. What's that?

The feature that was removed was the feature of inviting guests to join the live broadcast before the user started the live broadcast.

Now with the latest changes when a user goes live, the live broadcast only shows the account that created the live broadcast although viewers can still leave comments and send a heart icon to interact with the account that is doing the live broadcast.

Twitter says the changes are meant to improve video quality but Twitter also has an audio chat-based feature called Spaces, which is similar to Clubhouse.

So it's possible that besides improving the quality of live broadcast videos, Twitter is also focusing on features that have more appeal.

In September, Twitter announced that new videos posted to its platform would have fewer pixels. But until now there has been no drastic difference in the posted videos.
