Genshin Impact again held a Special Program livestream to announce the contents of the 2.2 update. Just like the previous livestream, they also distributed redeem codes that could be claimed to get Primogems and other items.
In update 2.2 Genshin Impact will not bring new five-star characters. The two upcoming banners in this update will feature re-runs of the previous five-star characters Childe and Hu Tao.
Interestingly, in the Hu Tao banner there will be a new four-star character, Thoma, who uses a polearm weapon and has pyro elements. Thoma himself has appeared several times in the Genshin Impact story while at Inazuma, and this time he has finally become a playable character.
For Genshin Impact players who haven't gotten Childe or Hu Tao in the previous banner, this update is definitely highly anticipated. If you're still saving primogems to 'pull' both of them, don't worry because Genshin Impact shares a redeem code that contains free primogems.
This redeem code applies globally, meaning that it applies to Asian, American and European servers. This redeem code is only valid until today, so claim it immediately if you don't want to miss the free primogems.
As usual, Genshin Impact distributed three redeem codes which if exchanged would give 300 primogems for free. The following is the latest Genshin Impact redeem code October 3, 2021:

The Genshin Impact redeem code can be claimed via the browser or directly in the game on each device. To claim the code via browser, visit the https://genshin.mihoyo.com/en/gift page, login, select the server, and enter the redeem code one by one.
If you want to claim directly from the game, either on PC or mobile, first open the Genshin Impact game and then enter the Settings menu. After that select the Account option, select Redeem Code, and enter the codes one by one.
The Genshin Impact redemption code can only be claimed once per account on each server. Hurry up and claim it before it expires!
