Earth Created a "Black Box" to Record the Cause of the Apocalypse

It's not just planes that have black boxes or black boxes. Earth will have the same thing. A sturdy black box will be built on a granite plain on the west coast of Tasmania, Australia in early 2022.

Just like an airplane black box whose contents reveal the cause of a plane crash, this Earth's "black box" has a mission to record and record every step that humans take that results in climate disasters. This recording will provide a record for future civilizations to understand what caused the destruction of the Earth.

The project, led by marketing communications company Clemenger BBDO, is in collaboration with researchers from the University of Tasmania. So far, the black box is still in Beta and has started collecting information on its website, earthsblackbox.com.

Quoted from Science Alert, the black box structure is designed the size of a bus, made of 3 inch thick steel and covered with solar panels. The interior will be populated by storage drives that collect climate change-related data such as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels and average temperature.

In addition, this object also works using algorithms by browsing various websites to analyze tweets, posts, and news related to environmental damage and climate change.

The project developers estimate that data storage capacity will run out in 30 to 50 years. They plan to increase the storage capacity of the black box, and provide a long-term solution. However, it is not clear how this structure will be maintained.

Other things such as how the solar panels can be replaced before the end of civilization, how well the drive holds up after decades, and how the dome will withstand acts of vandalism or sabotage are also not explained.

The project developer built this black box in a remote location, about four hours from the nearest major city in an effort to put it in a safe place. But is that enough?

Many other questions remain unanswered, including is this all just a clever marketing trick? Will this structure have any real benefit? So far, Clemenger BBDO and the University of Tasmania have not responded to these questions.

What is clear is that when the apocalypse occurs, whether due to climate disasters or otherwise, we have records to study. Humans seem to always be "enthusiastic" to prepare for the end of time. There are various ways to prepare for the apocalypse. For example, the "doomsday vault" in the Arctic which stores millions of variants of food seeds or the Vivos X Point bunker in America which is claimed to be an anti-apocalypse building that is resistant to all attacks. That's roughly what he thought. What do you think?
