Netflix launched a new website called Tudum where users can get complete information regarding the content of movies or TV series on Netflix.
Netflix calls this website the place to find more about favorites on Netflix. On Tudum, users can access a lot of information such as to get updates, release dates, and additional content about series and movies on Netflix.
For example, users can search for additional information related to the movie they are watching, whether the story is based on a true story or not, related to information about the players, to the location in the movie.
Apart from that, the website also has exclusive interviews, cast details, information on popular content on the platform, trending news section, details on upcoming events, explore section and much more.
Tudum itself is the name of the event for fans around the world which was held virtually last September.
The activities included exclusive first looks and panels featuring stars from some of Netflix's most popular titles, such as Stranger Things, The Witcher, Cobra Kai, and Emily in Paris.
The name Tudum is taken based on the voice heard by the user, at the beginning of an event or movie watched on the platform.
"Netflix is excited to introduce Tudum for fans to dive deeper into the stories they love, fuel their obsessions and start new conversations." said The streaming giant's chief marketing officer, Bozoma Saint John as quoted by us from TechCrunch, Tuesday (14/12/2021).
"It's still early days, and our launch today is just the beginning." he continued.
Currently Tudum is available globally but only in English. It's not yet known if Netflix plans to provide even more languages.
