Meta today shared saying their payment platform now known as Facebook Pay will be rebranded as Meta Pay.
Today, the Facebook Pay platform is used to manage payments on the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp platforms - however limited by country. For example, in Malaysia, Facebook Pay can only be used on Facebook.
With this rebranding, it will make it easier for users to use the payment platform in the metamesta arena developed by Meta in the future.
Prior to this itself, Meta has made some product name changes. These include Oculus Quest which is branded to Meta Quest, in addition to a Facebook Portal called Meta Portal.
