Apple shared the news about iOS 16 earlier this morning with this operating system coming with various new features that were not offered before. Without further ado, here are 16 of the most interesting features of iOS 16 that will be delivered this summer.
1.Customize Lock Screen Like Android
iOS users no longer need to be jealous of Android users because the lock screen customization feature is finally here on iOS 16. Continuing this customization users can change the lock screen appearance with images, widgets, notification display and fast access to Focus. iOS 16 users can then save their personal themes with their own design. With this the rumor that all iPhones look the same on the lock screen will become a fold of history.
The background can also change dynamically showing the current weather, position of the sun, moon, and stars. Love emojis? The background pattern using your favorite emoji can also be done automatically. For Apple Watch users, the Activity Ring display can also be placed on the lock screen just like on a watch. The background image selected by Apple by changing randomly is also included as on Huawei, Oppo and Xiaomi devices.
2.Safety Check – Helping Prey Domestic Violence
The Safety Check feature can help victims of domestic violence to block access to their accounts from their spouses. There is a feature of resetting all access to previously possible shared accounts. Account owners may also log out of all previously used devices simultaneously to prevent personal messages from being read. It also prevents being tracked and also allows messages to be read on the device in hand only. With cases of partner violence now gaining public attention, this feature arrives just in time.
3.Family Sharing – Easier Control of Children's Devices
Mothers and fathers and modern caregivers need to be wiser than children who are usually more discerning in the use of technology. There are many issues regarding access to age-appropriate content and also controlling how long they can use the device each day. On iOS 16, the controlling process will be streamlined through enhanced Family Sharing. 10. Apple Wallet – Safer Digital Key Sharing
Apple Wallet has been supporting digital locks for trains, hotel rooms and campuses since a few months ago. In iOS 16 later, digital keys owned by users can be shared securely through popular messaging applications such as Messages, Mail, and WhatsApp. When sent to an iOS device, the digital key may be stored directly in the recipient's Wallet.
