Founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates is often the target of conspiracy theories. The most recent is the question of the accusation of being the mastermind of the smallpox that is now spreading.

1. Stream movies at will
In 1994 Gates predicted, in the future people will no longer depend on TV channel schedules. In other words, we can decide for ourselves what and when to watch.
From the video in the presentation of the COMDEX trade show, there is a scene in the background, a woman going back and forth between episodes of David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey as she pleases-instead of depending on the TV channel schedule. It's something we all consider common today, we call it video on demand and over the top service.
"You're no longer tied to a specific schedule on which the show airs. Whatever you want to do, you're in control," Bill Gates told Fast Company.
2. Pandemic and smallpox
Bill Gates has warned of a viral pandemic that could make the world chaotic. He said this prediction at Ted Talk in 2015.
"If there's something that can kill more than 10 million people in the next decade, it's most likely a highly contagious virus. Not a missile, but a microbe," Gates said.
From here, conspiracy theorists began making rumors that Gates had been planning a COVID-19 pandemic from afar. Gates clearly denied the news.

3. CCTV aka surveillance cameras
Before surveillance cameras became commonplace, Gates had also predicted this. Now, surveillance cameras can be accessed even from mobile phones.
"Constant video views in your home will be common, informing you when someone is visiting when you're not home," wrote Bill Gates.
4. Holiday discounts
"There's software that knows when you're booking a ticket and uses that information to advise on activities at the destination. It will suggest activities, discounts, other offers and cheaper prices for everything you might want to participate in," Gates said.
5. Smart advertising
Gates predicted a long time ago that there would be smart ads created according to user activity. According to Gates, the device will have ads that know about users' buying trends and will display appropriate ads.
