Samsung is preparing to launch its newest cellphone next week, January 18, 2023 to be precise. It looks like the cellphone that will be released is the Samsung Galaxy A54.
Through the official Samsung India website, the South Korean vendor confirmed the launch event for the Galaxy A series devices. The launch will be held on January 18, 2023 at 12.00 local time with the tagline 'Amp your Awesome 5G'.
Samsung did not reveal the model of the cellphone to be launched, but from the teaser that was shared it seemed to point towards the Galaxy A54. The reason is that the teaser matches several leaks related to the Galaxy A54.
The cellphone that Samsung will release will carry a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A54 has long been rumored to come with a 120Hz screen.
However, previous leaks claimed that the Galaxy A54 will have a 6.4-inch screen. While in the Samsung teaser, this mysterious Galaxy A series phone will have a 6.6 inch screen with Full HD resolution.
Apart from the Galaxy A54, another device that matches Samsung's description on the page is the Galaxy A34. However, the Galaxy A34 is predicted to come with a 90Hz screen, not 120Hz, as quoted by Android Authority, Tuesday (10/1/2023).
The official Samsung site also reveals some of the attractions of the newest Galaxy A mobile phone, including a battery that lasts up to two days, three rear cameras with the 'No Shake Cam' feature, 5G, and three color choices, namely Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy, and Awesome Green.
Even though the launch event and release date are intended for India, that doesn't mean that this new Samsung phone won't be released globally. It is possible that this Galaxy A cellphone will debut in India first before being brought by Samsung to other countries.
Even though it has only entered the second week of January 2023, Samsung is immediately busy with the launch of its newest product. Not long ago they released the Galaxy A14 5G at CES 2023, and are preparing to welcome the arrival of the Galaxy S23 series.
