Twitter Blue can finally be subscribed to by Twitter users who own Android devices. It is offered at a price of $11 per month or $84 per year if payment is made using an Android device. If the payment is made through the web, it is only $8 per month.
As on iOS, Twitter Blue is only accessible to those living in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. It is still unknown when Twitter Blue will expand its offering to the rest of the world. Previously Twitter said the subscription price would depend on the user's location and therefore would theoretically be cheaper than the $8 in Malaysia.
Yesterday the annual subscription plan was announced as it was seen as Twitter's way of generating revenue after advertising revenue fell 40% in Q4 2022 compared to Q2 2021.
