The local E&E (electrical & electronics) engineering industry is one of the largest industries in Malaysia, where we can see companies such as Intel, AMD, Texas Instruments, Dyson and others have large factories and research centers in Malaysia.
Bayan Lepas Industrial Area and Kulim Hi-Tech Park are seen as two popular locations for electronics companies to "set up shop" in Malaysia, and now it is seen that the government wants to add more locations for high-income companies to set up in Malaysia.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that to build a wider ecosystem for the E&E cluster in the northern region, the Government will open a high-tech industrial area in Kerian, North Perak.
This not only allows existing companies to increase the number of research centers or manufacture their latest technologies, but also for new technology companies to establish themselves here.
