Steam has been updated today which brings full support for Sony DualShock and Sony DualSense controllers. Previously only partial support was provided causing touch pads and haptic feedback for example to be unusable.
In addition, Steam also provides a game filtering feature that fully supports the two control systems of this Sony console. With this filter, players who only own DualShock and DualSense can enjoy the game without any issues. The game's compatibility level with the controller is also listed. For example, it can only be done wired or partially.
For those using an Xbox controller, full support has been provided from the start. According to Valve, since the support was provided the number of users of Sony controllers increased up to four times. It is currently used by 27% of Steam users.
