IKEA is coming up with an interesting offer in the form of a mini bed specially designed for phones in an effort to encourage users to rest better.
This mini bed resembles a real bed complete with a blanket designed to attract users to put their phones down before going to bed. This move is intended to help reduce the habit of scrolling through social media before going to bed and improve sleep quality.
Interestingly, this bed is not just a place to put the phone but also comes with an interesting challenge called the 7-Day Phone Sleep Challenge. Through this challenge, users need to place their phones on the mini bed every night before going to bed. This bed is equipped with NFC support that will record the time the user starts sleeping and the data will be synchronized via the IKEA application.
Users who successfully complete the challenge for seven consecutive days have the opportunity to receive an exclusive voucher worth AED100 (~RM115) to use at IKEA. However, the mini bed and this challenge are only offered to users at IKEA UAE for now.
