Samsung will hold a special event for its Android XR devices on October 21. This will certainly be the stage for the Samsung Galaxy XR to be launched after the full design and specifications of this headset were leaked to the web arena recently.
What makes this morning's announcement interesting is that Samsung said more than one device will be launched. It is likely that at the same event the Galaxy G Fold that can be folded three times will be officially unveiled for the first time. Several improvements to the artificial intelligence system will also be announced according to the announcement made on Samsung's official website this morning.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy XR is equipped with a 4K micro-OLED screen, powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 chip, 8 cameras and sensors, the Samsung One UI XR interface and a battery that can last up to 2.5 hours on a single charge. Samsung previously confirmed that the Galaxy XR will only be sold in select markets in limited quantities at the initial stage.
