ACCA, one of the world's largest accountancy bodies, has announced that it will stop offering online exams. The move is in an effort to tackle the use of artificial intelligence to cheat when taking online exams.
With this move, all candidates will have to take the ACCA exam in person.
In addition to accounting, various parties have also switched from online to face-to-face, including for interviewing prospective employees and others due to candidates being dishonest during the interview process and using various methods to cheat.
