Upin & Ipin Theme Park to Open at King’s Park Genting Highland

We first heard about the Upin & Ipin Theme Park in 2012 when we visited the Les’ Copaque Production studio in person. At that time, it was just a dream and a concept drawing. At the LC Xpo 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Upin & Ipin, the Upin & Ipin Theme Park will officially open at King’s Park Genting Highland.

It was developed through a collaboration between Les’ Copaque Production Sdn Bhd and Kings’ Park Management Sdn. Bhd. This collaboration marks a major leap in Malaysia’s edutainment landscape, promising a world-class destination designed specifically for families, children and fans of all ages. The construction and opening date of the Upin & Ipin Theme at King’s Park Genting Highland has yet to be announced.

The theme park to be developed will feature immersive attractions inspired by the most iconic animated twins in Malaysia, thus setting a new benchmark for “edutainment” that combines creativity, culture and fun for the whole family.

Les’ Copaque Production previously said that the Upin & Ipin Theme Park would be built in Alor Gajah Melaka at a cost of RM 700 million. Several concept drawings were also shared via the official Instagram page.

Producer and Managing Director of Les’ Copaque Production Sdn Bhd, Burhanuddin Md Radzi was quoted as saying that this theme park would open by 2026. Since 2018, Les’ Copaque Production has been offered several plots of land including at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang; Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Negeri Sembilan.
