Maxis AI Assistant MIYA Now Supports Malay



Maxis has enhanced its AI assistant in its MIYA app with support for Malay (BM) to give customers the option to communicate in the national language for a more comprehensive digital experience. In addition, the AI ​​assistant has been enhanced with a speech-to-text feature that allows customers to interact more easily whether they are out and about or on the move.


Launched in October 2025, MIYA helps customers manage their daily queries and explore Maxis products and services. Key features include bill management, roaming assistance and contract review.


To date, the AI ​​assistant has handled over 500,000 conversations, helping customers resolve issues more efficiently and make it easier for them to find the services they need.
