Samsung Galaxy S26 Privacy Display Technology to Be Used by Other Manufacturers This Year

Samsung has been teasing the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 series for the past few weeks. When activated, the device's screen becomes difficult to read if the eyes are not in the correct plane with the screen. The technology was developed in-house by Samsung Display and many predict it will be an exclusive feature of Samsung devices for a certain period of time.

But now leading leaker Digital Chat Station says that manufacturers from China have begun testing this new OLED panel. Non-Samsung devices with Privacy Display are expected to arrive as early as next September. No names were given but Xiaomi and Vivo are two companies that use Samsung panels.

Previously, there have been rumors that the new MacBook Pro will also use Privacy Display technology. The extent to which these rumors are true will only be known when the devices are offered to the market later.
