WhatsApp is developing a scheduled message feature that will allow users to set a specific date and time for messages to be sent automatically. Scheduled messages will remain in the list until it is time to send and when the selected time arrives, the message will be sent without any additional action from the user.
This feature is very useful for various situations whether it is reminding someone about a meeting or ensuring that important messages are not missed. After a message is scheduled, WhatsApp will display it in a special section on the chat information screen where the user can see the number of messages that have been scheduled.
More importantly, users will still have full control as scheduled messages can be deleted at any time before they are sent and this deletion process will not result in any notification to the recipient. At the moment, this scheduled message feature is still in the development process and its official launch date is not yet known.
