Honor has stolen the spotlight on the MWC 2026 stage by introducing its latest foldable phone, the Honor Magic V6. Different from the previous approach that emphasized the thinness of the device, Honor this time focuses on a large battery capacity while maintaining flagship specifications.
The Honor Magic V6 looks almost identical to the Magic V5 that we reviewed before. The basic design has not changed much, as have most of its specifications. It comes with a 7.95-inch main screen matched with a 6.52-inch outer screen. Both screens support LTPO 2.0 AMOLED with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Honor also introduced a new Super Steel hinge with a strength of 2,800 MPa to be stronger for long-term use. At the same time, the depth of the fold has been reduced by 44% so that the display looks flatter. The outer screen is equipped with a new anti-reflective coating with a reflection rate of only 1.5%.
The mainstay of this device uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Next, the main camera setup consists of a 50MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and dual 20MP front cameras. This device is also equipped with a 6,600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 60W wireless charging.
Honor also introduced file sharing and notification features with Apple devices. For example, the Magic V6 can be synchronized for two-way notifications with iPhone. In addition, it also has a setting to display notifications on the Apple Watch. However, Honor has not yet announced the sales price for now.
