DJI launched the Osmo Pocket 4 late last night with it being sold in Malaysia starting at RM1999 each. But after the launch, the existence of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P was also revealed as it is equipped with a dual camera system. When launched, it will be the first compact gimbal camera with a dual camera system.
The Osmo Pocket 4P's camera system is similar to that used in the DJI Air 3S which was launched in 2024. There is no information about the cameras on the Osmo Pocket 4P but on the DJI Air 3S the dual camera system combines a 50MP+48MP sensor, one with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and the other with a 70mm telephoto sensor.
It is unclear why the Osmo Pocket 4P was not launched at the same time as the Osmo Pocket 4 because both have been leaked simultaneously for the past few months. It is likely that the lack of memory components - the Osmo Pocket 4 has built-in storage for the first time - caused the launch of the model with dual cameras to be postponed first.
