DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Launched With 4K 240FPS Recording – Starting Price RM 1999

After a long time of being teased with leaked images, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has finally been officially launched. It is still equipped with a 1″ CMOS sensor paired with a 20mm f/2 lens and the ISO range is now 50–12800. The camera can now record video at a maximum setting of 4K at 240FPS which is better than only 120FPS on the Pocket 3.

It can also record at a True 10‑bit D‑Log setting and has better low-light capture quality and more accurate skin tone reproduction. Still photo capture is also now 37MP compared to only 9.4MP on the previous model. There are six new Film Tones namely CC Film, NC Film, Pastel, Warm Tone, Movie, and Retro.

Stabilization still maintains the 3-axis gimbal with ActiveTrack 7 as well as 4X zoom tracking. All controlled by the 5D control button. Another improvement is that it now has 107GB of built-in storage, a larger battery that provides up to 240 minutes of recording and the OLED screen is now brighter at 1000 nits. This larger battery can be recharged up to 80% in 18 minutes.

In Malaysia, pre-orders are open today until April 21. The selling price is RM1999 for the Standard Combo and RM2599 for the Creator Combo which comes with DJI Mic 3 and Pocket 4 Fill Light as well as several other additional accessories.
