Recently, Dell Malaysia has updated their Alienware laptop offering with the Alienware 16X Aurora model, a premium laptop series that comes with the latest and greatest laptop component and technology offerings.
Starting with the display, the Alienware 16X Aurora comes with an option for a 16-inch anti-glare OLED screen display with a 4K (2560×1600) resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate along with the ability to process 120 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, a brightness rating of 620 nits and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC display technology.
The laptop also comes with an option for the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX laptop CPU combined with an option for up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, up to 4TB of PCie 4.0 SSD storage and an option for up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX5070 Ti graphics card.
In terms of plug offerings, this laptop comes with one Thunderbolt 4 plug, two USB 3.2 Type-C plugs, two USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, one HDMI 2.1 plug, one 3.5mm audio plug and one RJ-45 wired internet plug. In terms of wireless connectivity, this laptop supports the latest WiFi 7 and Bluetooth internet connections.
These specifications look great, but there are some caveats about the configurations that users can choose. Technically, users can choose the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX CPU up to the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus, but the selection of other components such as the type of screen display and graphics card depends on the choice of CPU.
To get the OLED screen display configuration and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, users are required to choose the configuration with the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus CPU. Other CPU options will limit configuration options to an IPS display (which has the same refresh rate and resolution) and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card.
If you're interested in buying this laptop, Dell Malaysia has now started offering it at a starting price of RM12,089 with an Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX configuration, 16GB of memory, 1TB of SSD storage and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card.
