After more than three years since the release of TWS 3 Pro, vivo is now back with TWS 5 Pro which was announced alongside X Fold6 in China yesterday. This new model comes with major improvements in terms of sound quality, battery life and daily functions.
Vivo TWS 5 Pro is equipped with a special Hi-Fi DAC audio chip from Cirrus Logic which produces clearer and more natural sound. It also uses two types of sound drivers in collaboration with Knowles, an American audio company, to ensure a balance between bass and treble.
For calls, it comes with a combination of four microphones with a bone conduction mic for clearer voice. In addition, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology up to 60dB is provided with a special mode for use on airplanes and buses. At the same time, it also received Hi-Res Audio Wireless recognition, 10-band EQ support, as well as certification from QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music.
In terms of battery, TWS 5 Pro can be used for up to 50 hours with the help of a charging pod. If recharged for 5 minutes, users can enjoy up to 2 hours of listening time. In addition, these earphones support simultaneous connection to three devices, low latency gaming mode and can be combined with vivo smartwatches.
The vivo TWS 5 Pro is priced at CNY 999 (~RM690) but for now it has only been announced for the Chinese market and there is no official confirmation whether it will be brought to Malaysia.
