Coca-Cola Dairy Brand Operations Hit by Ransomware

Coca-Cola, the leading beverage company in the United States, has just confirmed that its dairy subsidiary called fairlife has been hit by a ransomware attack, and parts of its operating systems have been affected.

After detecting the issue, Coca-Cola immediately activated its incident response and business security protocols. They also confirmed that the company's investigation and assessment of the impact of the incident is underway with the assistance of external advisors and cybersecurity experts.

The incident has also been reported to law enforcement for further action. At this time, the scope, nature and full impact of the incident are still unknown.

According to Coca-Cola, the incident appears to have affected part of the company's production operations in the United States, and this means that the quality and product safety division and fairlife's operations in Canada were not affected.
