Samsung has hinted that the Galaxy Ring 2 is in development as shared by Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of Samsung’s Digital Health Division in an interview with Forbes.
Samsung is seen trying a new approach for the Galaxy Ring 2, which is expected to work within the company’s smart ecosystem. The device will connect to phones, watches and smart home devices, with more comprehensive data sharing. There is also a possibility that it will support the iPhone, but this has not yet been officially confirmed and is currently just speculation from viral reports.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Ring 2 is rumored to come with a battery that can last up to 10 days, a thinner design and better built-in sensors for skin temperature reading and heart rate monitoring. However, the official launch of the Galaxy Ring 2 is not predicted to happen at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. In fact, it is most likely not launched this year.
