One of the biggest issues with Android devices is that updates are not provided quickly and sometimes take months. It's even more tragic if you have a device that's not rooted so no updates are received. Samsung became the first manufacturer to promise updates of up to four versions of Android on their released devices. To attract more users, they now promise to provide updates faster.
Starting in 2023, updates will be accelerated further. This year the Galaxy S22 series has received Android 13 since this month, a month earlier than the Android 12 update last year. In addition to faster updates, they will be delivered to more devices simultaneously.
Samsung's update process is one of the best now compared to five years ago it was one of the worst. In order to provide competition to Apple, Android manufacturers need to follow in their footsteps by providing updates simultaneously on a global level.
