OpenAI is now seen to have updated the subscription price for ChatGPT Go in Malaysia. The basic subscription plan has been introduced in Malaysia since October 2025. At the time of introduction, it was offered at a price of RM39 per month. However, through a new update, OpenAI has reduced its subscription price, and can now be subscribed to at a price of RM24 per month.
ChatGPT Go offers access to GPT-5, larger memory than free users, and also longer contexts than free users. It also offers access to audio mode, in addition to providing convenience for users to upload more files, and generate more images.
With this new subscription price, it is seen that OpenAI is also standardizing the price of their service offerings in line with Google, which also offers Google AI Plus at a price of RM23.99 per month in Malaysia.
