The rise of WhatsApp groups brings benefits, for example, sharing information or adding friends with the same hobby. So far, leaving a WhatsApp group always leaves a notification that can be read by all group members. So often a bad feeling arises if you want to do it. Especially if the members of the WhatsApp group know each other.
In fact, the reason for leaving a group often has nothing to do with personal matters, but other factors such as having joined too many groups, overwhelmed cell phone memory, feeling that there are no benefits and so on.
Inevitably, the feature of being able to leave WhatsApp groups without being caught has been a dream for a long time. Apparently, WhatsApp listened to the wish and finally granted it. So, there is no need to use certain tricks, just use the direct features in WhatsApp.
This feature was announced directly by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. In his official statement, Zuckerberg said this feature was launched to improve user privacy and provide more control over their conversations.
"Several new privacy features will be rolling out on WhatsApp: leaving WhatsApp groups without notifications, controlling who can see when you're online, and blocking screenshots for single-view messages," Zuckerberg said.
With this new feature, WhatsApp users can leave groups secretly without other members knowing. Notifications that a user has left the group will only be visible to group admins.
When a user is about to leave the group, WhatsApp will show a pop-up message stating that 'Only group admins will be notified that you left the group'
The feature to leave WhatsApp groups without notifications will only be launched in the near future, namely in August this gradually and currently doesn't seem to be available so we can't try it yet. But many WhatsApp users certainly welcome it with joy.
